There's a newly constructed mall just about less than 4 kms. from our house. It's called Market! Market! and I've been hearing a lot about it lately. My neighbors were so ecstatic to tell me about it, it seemed like they go there everyday since it's opened a few weeks ago.

My 11-year old niece, Elaine needed to buy some stuff for school when she asked me and Annalyn to come with her to the bookstore at the new mall. I didn't really feel like going and I actually thought it was a bad idea because it's Sunday, the mall will be packed with people and I've been hearing that there's gonna be a show so it'll surely be crammed with onlookers, but since it was the last day before the next term starts, I went with them.

We were so surprised to see so many people outside the mall, I was expecting it to be packed, but not that packed! The people were all outside the building just in front of the entrance and even the people in the second to fourth floor found their places behind the glass windows to see what seemed like a TV show at the center of the outside of the building they call Central Plaza. Eventually,we learned that ABS-CBN's ASAP mania is taping they're sunday show there. We weren't informed because our Channel 2's not working. We had no choice but to squeeze into the crowd to get to the mall entrance. I had a glimpse of what was happening in the beautifully-set up stage. I saw the dancers dancing while some people were singing at the center of the stage. I could hear Gary V. singing but I couldn't make out their faces because the people kept on pushing each other and it's impossible for me to have a steady view. Inches away from the entrance, we've decided to go directly inside, there's no way we could watch the show from our point and there's nowhere else we could stand without being pushed aside by the excited crowd.

It was a bit disappointing to find out that the interior of the mall is too small than that of the usual. From the outside it looked so big but everything inside seemed to have been minimized from the typical. From the shops, to the boutiques, bookstore, timezone and even the restrooms! But maybe I could also attribute it to the large volume of people in there. Every corner is literally packed with people and most of them are even familiar faces! I just couldn't help to think that maybe our whole community was there!

After getting Elaine's books at around 2pm, we've decided to eat so we looked for McDonald's which was located just after the mall entrance. The line to the cashier extends to the outside of the fastfood so we looked for Jollibee which was just on the other side but seemed like a kilometer away, it was so hard to intersect the people going outside and inside the mall. It was jampacked as well but we sticked to it. We had the usual burger and fries and I've found a good place for the three of us, we were on standing position because all the other chairs are not available but we didn't mind for we had a good view of the Central Plaza. We could see celebrities going up and down the backstage!

We've seen almost everyone in ASAP mania. From Gary V., Martin Nievera, ZsaZsa Padilla, Nina, Vina, Luis Manzano, the Hunks to the SCQ Reload Teens (except for Hero). They're all so pretty! Sandara Park kept waving and blowing kisses at our direction. I could swear she looked at me! ehehe..But what really caught my eyes is Neri. For me she's the prettiest of them. She's the only one in there who didn't look the same as they looked on TV. I think TV's not giving her enough justice. She's much more beautiful than she seemed and she looked so ravishingly hot in her red top and skirt! I've seen her in the first four episodes of the Reload and she was the one I liked most then, and now even more.

Geez! that's one helluva day! I've realized going to Market! Market! today wasn't a bad idea after all!



I've checked my father's mobile tonight and I've found out that my mystery caller was indeed my halfsister in Dubai. I felt a little disappointed.

Later tonight, my other sister, Annalyn and I were walking home from our store, which is about a few blocks away from our house, when we walked into our cousin Joy. It's been a few months since she's been gone from our place after she got engaged. She says her wedding's set on December 18, a day after my father's birthday. I've noticed that she was wearing red and I remembered that she celebrates her birthday every September. I felt pretty guilty that I couldn't remember her birthday to think that she is one of my closest friends and almost best at being that. Feeling certain that her birthday had already passed, I greeted her Belated Happy Birthday, but I was damn wrong. It was her birthday as I speak.

Then it struck me, deliberately ignoring the fact that I made a mistake in greeting Joy the wrong way. Something came in my mind. Since I've made yet another mistake in thinking that it was Shiela who was trying to call me last night, a single memory of her kept coming back in my mind. All of a sudden, the night we first made love kept coming back to me as if it was just yesterday. That stupid phone number brought me back to that night. I could vividly remember every single detail. It made me feel so hot that I can't stop remembering that I was the first man to ever get inside her. Those memories kept repeating in my mind last night until I fall asleep. And after that peculiar dream, I've been starting to feel something's going wrong. I haven't figured out why it's happening and it's not making any sense, until now.

I kept recalling the things as they were two years ago then I've realized that the memories that are coming back to me happened exactly two years ago. The night we first made love was right after Joy's birthday and about the same time I am writing this journal. If Shiela could've been dead right now, it could've definitely given me the creeps. Knock on wood.
